THANK YOU SECRET PAL 5

My first Secret Pal parcel arrived today and it was so exciting. I get a lot of work through the post and five parcel arrived this morning and I assumed they were all work related so when I opened one up and it was nicely tied with ribbon and had a lovely smell of vanilla I realised this wasn't work!
Inside was some Patons Pebbles yarn which I have not seen before - it is beautifully soft and has a lovely tweedy texture. I think I might make a scarf with it - maybe mix it with something else, I'll have to have a think. Also some lovely vanilla soap and a beautiful hand made card from my obviously very talented secret pal with some knitting on the front. I will take a photo of everything when Tom and Tasha return from the Lakes with the digital camera. Thank you so much to my Secret Pal.
I've not been doing too much knitting recently due to a combination of my painful neck and too much work. The neck is feeling much better now and I am just getting tingly feelings in my left hand every so often. Work is totally manic and I've been getting up at 2am to meet deadlines but that's been okay as it's been too hot to sleep anyway.
I've done some freeform crochet for the round robin from the UK Freeform group - I am so nervous adding on to the fantastic work that others have done in case I spoil it all! I'll add a photo of the latest one soon also. I'm still doing the Ruffles scarf when I have a minute and sit down to relax and watch the tennis. Good luck to Andy Murray for this afternoon.
