I can't believe I haven't posted on here since mid June and now it is mid July (and my birthday today! Happy Birthday to me.) I haven't knitted very much although I continue adding to the stash mainly thanks to Ebay. I'm not able to post any pictures at the moment because the digital camera has finally died - I should have asked for a new one as a birthday present, too late now.
I'm still slogging along with the curly wurly scarf and have been adding to the freeform crochet group round robin - there is some incredible work being done in that group.
I got the new Interweave Knits magazine and quite fancy doing the Greek Pullover in Rowan Kid Classic - there is a Greek Pullover Knit Along just started so am considering joining that http://greekpulloverknitalong.blogspot.com/
I have also signed up to a Secret Scarf Exchange and I need to knit a scarf for a lady in Australia by September - I'd better choose one quickly and get started as I'm away for the last two weeks of August in Cuba (can't wait).
New yarns include a selection of European yarns in shades of blue from one of my favourite ebay sellers edm.designs plus 105 3ft lengths of different yarns to be used to make a magic ball for some freeform experiments, some gorgeous yarns there. Also some Lorna's Laces in Motherlode, some absolutely gorgeous glitter yarns from Australia including some Artfibers, some Artfibers Kyoto silk in a beautiful green shade, a variety of German yarns from a German ebay seller and two Anny Blatt magazines from France with some incredible patterns in them, very unusual.
Now I just need a bit of time to knit them up.
Also I am going to place an order with HSC Crafts - they do Adriafil Papua which is 100% Egyptian cotton ribbon yarn that comes in a huge range of colours and is only £1.75 for 50g. HSC also give free postage on orders over £5 so definitely good value.

Beverly, Hope you made it home safely from Cuba. I've been concerned that you may have been getting slammed from the storm during your holiday. I'm grateful you didn't go to New Orleans! Hope you'll check in with all your fans here and let us know how you're doing, and what you have OTN, and whether you found any yummy yarns on your trip.
